Community Guidelines

Thoughtful feedback and respectful conversations help everyone choose photos with confidence.

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Better photos start with helpful feedback

phrodia brings people together to make more confident photo choices for dating, social media, business and fitness. Honest impressions, thoughtful comments and respectful conversations make that feedback valuable for everyone.

Our community is for people aged 16 and over. These guidelines apply to photos, browser ratings, comments, chats and shared images.

Share photos that represent you

Choose clear, well-lit photos with a natural expression and a background that supports the impression you want to make. Use photos you own or have permission to share. If other adults appear in a photo, get their permission and make sure it is clear who the photo is about.

Keep editing authentic. Portraits, casual selfies and professional photos are welcome when they meet the content standards below. The app prepares supported images for upload, so you can focus on choosing the right photo.

You retain ownership of your photos. Your audience settings guide distribution for in-app feedback. When you create a sharing link or code, people who receive it can access the shared photo and its associated results. Choose where you share it with that audience in mind.

Give feedback people can use

Each photo test asks about three qualities appropriate to its purpose. Answer the prompts using No, Somewhat, Yes or Very. phrodia combines the responses into an overall score from 1 to 10, alongside the individual insights.

Base your answers on your own impression of the photo. Different perspectives help people understand how their photo comes across to an audience.

Helpful comments are specific and considerate:

  • “The natural lighting makes your expression easy to see.”
  • “This photo feels approachable and professional.”
  • “A simpler background could bring more attention to your face.”
  • “The relaxed pose gives this photo a friendly feel.”

Focus on the photo, its presentation and the selected test. Keep feedback free of personal insults, body shaming, sexual remarks and demands. Use your own judgment; coordinated ratings, paid manipulation and automated submissions undermine useful feedback and are prohibited.

Make conversations welcoming

Use chat to add context, exchange feedback and thank people for their perspective. Respect the other person's boundaries and their choice about whether to continue a conversation.

Keep chats free of sexual or romantic solicitation, unsolicited promotions, requests for money or financial information, and persistent unwanted contact. Keep external contact details out of initial messages. Chat images follow the same content standards as photo uploads.

You can use Block User or Delete Chat in a conversation. To ask phrodia to review a chat concern, email info@phrodia.com with the relevant context.

Content standards

These standards support a respectful environment for adults. The following content and conduct are prohibited:

  • Nudity and sexual content: full or partial nudity, exposed intimate areas or bare-chest photos, pornography, sexual acts, sexually suggestive poses, or lingerie and swimsuit photos presented with sexual intent.
  • Content involving minors: photos of anyone under 18, including people in the background; impersonating a minor; grooming, sexual exploitation or solicitation involving minors.
  • Harassment and discrimination: bullying, threats, stalking, impersonation, hate speech, discriminatory insults or symbols promoting hate groups.
  • Violence and harmful content: graphic injury, gore, animal cruelty, promotion of self-harm or violence, and weapon imagery.
  • Illegal or exploitative activity: illegal drug or weapons activity, trafficking, fraud, scams and other unlawful services or transactions.
  • Spam and manipulation: unsolicited advertising, promotional accounts, bulk messages, bots, fake feedback or attempts to manipulate credits and rewards.
  • Privacy and rights violations: sharing another person's private information, private conversations or photos without permission, revenge content, or material you lack the rights to use.

Choose settings and clothing appropriate for a public photo-feedback community. Avoid intimate bathroom or bedroom settings and photos that materially misrepresent who you are. These standards apply equally to profile photos, tests, comments and conversations.

Help us look after the community

To report a photo, open its Report option, choose the relevant category and add any useful details. The categories are Inappropriate Content, Child Safety Concern, Spam or Fake, Harassment and Other.

For a concern involving someone who may be under 18, choose Child Safety Concern. You can also email info@phrodia.com with a link or identifier, a short explanation and supporting context. Share only the information needed to understand the concern.

The reporting feature keeps the reporter's identity out of the information shown to the reported user. phrodia processes the account and report details to assess the concern, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Make reports in good faith. Deliberately abusive or misleading reports can themselves be reviewed under these guidelines.

Moderation and fair review

Automated image checks, including Google Cloud Vision, support content moderation. Authorized administrators can review flagged material, reports and appeals. Reviews take account of the content, context and urgency of the concern.

Depending on the circumstances, action can include a warning, content removal, restrictions, suspension or account closure. Serious safety concerns may require immediate action. Information may be provided to competent authorities where legally required or otherwise lawfully appropriate.

If you believe a decision was mistaken, email info@phrodia.com with your account identifier, the affected content or decision and the context you would like considered. Good-faith appeals are welcome. An internal review leaves your statutory rights and available legal remedies intact.

Your content and choices

You can manage or delete your photos in Photos and request account deletion through the app or by email. The Terms of Service explain content permissions and credits; the Privacy Policy explains visibility, data use and deletion.

These guidelines evolve with the community and the service. The date above identifies this revision; material changes are communicated as required by applicable law.
